The referee is assisted by two assistant referees (formerly called up the judge / linesmen). In much of the match referee also helped a fourth official who may replace another official if a required. In addition they also need the tools to help the course petandingan like:
1. board replacement players
2. table and chairs
Team
Each team has a maximum of eleven players, one of whom must be the goalkeeper. Sometimes there are regulations that require the minimum amount of championship players on a team (usually eight).
The goalkeeper is allowed to take the ball with the hand or arm in the penalty box in front of the net.
Other players on both teams were forbidden to hold the ball with their hands or arms when the ball is still in the game, but may use other body parts. The exception to this rule applies when the ball was kicked out over the line and throw the ball to be done to restore the game.
A number of players (the numbers vary depending on the league and the country) may be replaced by substitutes during the game. Common reasons include the substitution of a player injury, fatigue, kekurangefektifan, change tactics, or to throw a bit of time at the end of a match. In a standard game, the player who has been replaced may not return to play in those games.
Playground
Standard field size
Field is a field that is used is usually rectangular grass. With 100-110 meters long and 64-75 meters wide. In the second short side, there is the goal of 24 x 8 feet, or 7.32 x 2.44 meters.
Older games
Older normal football game is 2 × 45 minutes, plus resting for 15 minutes (sometimes 10 minutes). If the same position draw, extra time then held for 2 × 15 minutes, to obtain a winner, however if it is held equally strong penalties.
Old standard game
A standard adult game consists of two rounds each during 45 minutes. Generally there is a 15-minute rest period between the second half.
Extra time and penalty shoot-out
Most of the game usually ends after the second round, with a team wins a game or ends the series. Even so, some matches, especially the winners need to hold an additional round of so-called extra-time when the match ended in a draw: two each half as long as 15 minutes played. Until recently, the IFAB have tried to use some form of a system of 'sudden death', but they have now not used.
If the result is still a draw after extra time, some championships using penalties to determine the winner. There are also other championship that requires the game to be repeated.
It should be noted that the goals scored during extra time counted in the final results, different from the resulting goal from the penalty spot which is only used to determine the winner of the match.
Referee as official timer
Referee who led the match and assisted a number 1 person 2 people as a linesman. Then the referee assisted backup help in case of substitutions and announced additional time. At the 2006 World Cup, the fifth official use.
The experiments use a golden goal and silver goal
See: Goal silver; Gol gold.
In the late 1990s, the IFAB try to make matches more likely to end without requiring a penalty shootout, which is often regarded as less appropriate way to end the game.
An example is the system of silver goal that ended the game when a goal is scored in the first overtime, and the golden goal that ended the game when a goal is scored in the second overtime.
Both of these systems have been discontinued by IFAB.
Major international championship
The international championship soccer World Cup is organized by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association. The World Cup is held every four years. More than 190 national team competed in the regional qualifying tournament for a place in the finals. Finals tournament which lasted for four weeks now involves 32 national team (up from 24 in 1998).

Football has been played at the Olympics since 1900. (Except for the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles). Initially this is only for amateur players only, but since the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics professional players also started to play, with rules that prevented states rather than play the strongest team they are. At this time, for the Olympic men's tournament is a tournament U-23, which may ditamnbahi some players over age. As a result, this tournament does not have international importance and prestige are the same as the World Cup, or even the Euro, Copa America or the African Cup.
In contrast, the Olympic tournament for women carry almost the same prestige as the FIFA Women's World Cup; tournament played by international teams complete without age restrictions.
